After graduating from the University of St. Thomas in 2019, I needed to satisfy my ever growing appetite for creating. Thus, North Pine Media (NPM) was born. I wasn’t entirely sure what the business would look like, I just knew I had to start. At this point in my career I had cultivated a wide variety of content creation skilIs, and knew I could enhance any brand through my ability to creatively share stories. I was supplementing my income with freelance video and photo work, so at the very least NPM would always be a safe LLC for me to use for those projects. Fast forward to today, and in many ways not much has changed. NPM is an extension of me and the work I do. So who am I?

My name is Spencer Allen. I am a Minneapolis based creative who specializes in both photo and video. Throughout my almost decade long career in the industry, I have had the opportunity to work with large brands such as 76 Gas Station, Subaru, Caribou Coffee, Bush’s Baked Beans, and more. Throughout this time, I have also shot and edited many events such as weddings, sporting events, documentaries and concert recaps, just to name a few. North Pine Media is a culmination of my experience and network after working in the industry.

North Pine Media is a story first creative production company that specializes in video for both short and long form consumption. While video is our main medium, we are also able to deliver high quality photo and graphic design production. Simply put, NPM leverages my content creation skills as well as my creative network to bring any brands identity to life. As I look to NPM’s future I can’t help but feel excited.
